Topek were approached by one of our major clients, Unite Student Accommodation, to review a project which had been recently completed using Stone Rainscreen panels.
As the contractor who had originally completed the works was no longer trading we were asked to provide recommendations to rectify the poorly installed Stone Rainscreen System together with a full review of the curtain walling and windows.
On our arrival on site it was clear there were issues with panel setting out, joint locations and fixing details. We were instructed to remove all of the Rainscreen cladding and replace with new panels to match the existing.
Topek were employed as the main contractor providing all access, public walkways and welfare facilities for the 14 week duration on site.
